Kelly Nelson (Holy Cross) and Lilly Volk (UMAINE) led the 18 Plus Polar Crush to a 6-0 weekend.  Nelson and Volk pitched all six games supported by a defense that only made one error all weekend long.

In the championship game, Emily Piergustavo (UCONN) reached first on a single, advanced to second on a passed ball and was driven home by Britt Bolster (WPI).  One run was all that Nelson would need  as she finished off the game throwing 11 pitches to record the last six outs.  Danielle Carson (Simmons) was the defensive star making two fantastic plays in RF to help secure the 1-0 championship game win!
